Anne Tumlinson

CEO & Founder, ATI Advisory

Anne leads the nation in setting the direction of aging and disability policy. She founded ATI Advisory, a national research and consulting firm that advises public and private sector leaders in developing and implementing scalable coverage and care delivery solutions, uniquely focused on populations that experience high needs and costs. ATI produces insights, strategic advice, and objective research to prepare various organizations for a rapidly changing healthcare services environment.

Anne also founded and operates Daughterhood, an online and in-person community that connects family caregivers for support and information. She serves on the non-profit boards of the Caregiver Action Network and Mary’s Center, an FQHC in Washington, DC. She serves on advisory boards for aging technology companies and the board of directors for Bluestone Physician Services and Harmony @ Home. Anne is a member of the National Academy of Social Insurance, was named an Influencer in Aging by Next Avenue, and serves as a Nexus Fellow.

Anne spent her early career working in government, first as a healthcare advisor to Congressman John Lewis (D-GA) and then as the lead for Medicaid program oversight at the Office of Management and Budget. She joined Avalere Health in 2000, leading the firm’s provider practice and developing business intelligence products for 14 years.

John Petito

Corporate Vice President of Strategy & Transformation, SCAN Health Plan

John plays a key role in forming enterprise strategy, supporting business unit planning, and aligning communications to support SCAN’s strategy.

Previously a Principal at Oliver Wyman, John has held multiple senior strategy roles at firms including Booz & Company (now Strategy&) and Aetna. He has expertise in the areas of corporate and business unit strategy formation, diversification and strategic options assessments, go-to-market strategy development, product innovation, and large-scale program management.

John holds an MBA from The Wharton School, an MS in Health Policy from Harvard University, and his BA in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.

Ashish V. Shah

CEO, Dina

Ashish V. Shah leads the Dina team on its mission to power the healthcare industry’s transition to virtual and in-home care. He founded the company in 2015 and remains passionate about empowering care teams with the tools they need to help people age in place. A recognized thought leader, Ashish previously served as CTO at Medicity, the market leader for vendor-neutral Health Information Exchange solutions (acquired by Aetna in 2011).

Dawn Maroney

CEO of Alignment Health Plan & President, Markets of Alignment Health

Dawn oversees Alignment’s growth and expansion, in all areas from sales strategy, product strategy, market expansions and acquisitions, to partnership account management. She focuses on driving innovative products, spearheading marketing efforts around the brand, and overseeing direct response activities. In addition, she directs the many variable aspects of sales execution and planning, and the ongoing challenge of coordinating these channels with Alignment’s extensive network of providers, health plans and hospital systems. She previously served as chief growth and strategy officer for the company.

Prior to joining Alignment Health, Dawn was chief Medicare officer for Blue Shield of California (formerly known as Care1st Health Plan), representing over 400,000 Medicare and Medicaid lives in California, Arizona and Texas. In this executive role, she was responsible for all Medicare operations, including sales, marketing, product, revenue and membership accounting. Under Dawn’s watch, Blue Shield doubled its membership, improved its CMS star rating and saw major revenue growth. In addition, the company enjoyed significant improvement in member retention, attributable to Dawn’s tireless efforts to boost Blue Shield’s corporate brand and identity assets.

Before her tenure at Care1st, Dawn served as chief sales & marketing officer at CareMore Health Plan, where she guided a period of historic growth for the company, going from 3,500 lives to 65,000, and helped shape it into an industry leader through performance and profitability of membership. She was also instrumental in recreating the company’s brand and vision.

Dawn also served as vice president, Medicare, at Secure Horizons, where she was responsible for overall membership growth and retention across eight U.S. states, as well as western regional vice president of HealthNet, providing guidance on new product offerings, growth and oversight of group retiree business. With more than 25 years in the health care space, Dawn is regarded not only as an industry expert, but also a pioneer in positioning health care organizations for success in the challenging Medicare, Medicaid and underserved markets.
